West side features Kaluakoi, one of Molokai major resort area. Popohaku Ranch Lands and Molokai ranch where the wild turkey and mongooses roam freely. Drive carefully at night to protect the wild Axis deer population that roam freely. These spotted deer are native to India and were given as a gift to King Kamehameha V in the 1860s.
Popohaku beach is dream like, white sand expanse are three miles long, it's one of the Hawaii's biggest beaches and certainly on of the most beautiful. A great spot to watch the sun sink into Pacific and stay alert for the green flash at sunset.
