Famous 7 sacred pools outside of Hana, has actually a lot more then seven pools and did I mention the 400 foot waterfall!  This area can be explored on your own, although I suggest hiking with a small tour group who will supply you with gear, food, water and information.  They will take you off the beaten trail and show you a water wonderland!  It is also quite a treat to let someone else do the driving after a long hike through the rainforest.  This hike will take you through a bamboo forest with lots of swimming in fresh pools and under waterfalls.
