Limahuli Garden

Limahuli Botanical Garden is part of the National Tropical Botanical Gardens and was donated to the society in 1976 by Juliet Rice Wichman and was opened to the public in 1995. It has recently been rated the top botanical garden in the United States. Garden is Located on Kauai's wet north shore in Haena, Limahuli Garden and Preserve extends over 1,000 acres in a verdant tropical valley covering three distinct ecological zones. Ongoing programs in watershed protection and studies in plant and animal stream life are conducted at this site.
