Each of Kauai's golf courses has something to offer the avid golfer. The island has a great selection of courses with greens fees ranging from discount to resort. There are courses scattered all around the island, so no matter where you're staying there will always be somewhere near by to hit a few balls.
  Puakea Golf Course

Puaeka rated top 7th Course in Hawaii! - Golf Week Magazine 2008 Puakea Golf Course, Kaua'i, a one-time sugar plantation, is the newest addition to Kaua’I’s golf extravaganza. For seven years it played as a 10-hole layout, the final eight holes were completed in 2003.
  Designed by Robin Nelson, Puakea is a magical golfing journey with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean, Mt. Ha'upu, and a lush tropical landscape that time seems to have forgotten; it's a public access facility that’s as much a visual delight as it is to play.
  Kiahuna Golf Course

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Kiahuna features some of the finest greens in Hawaii and the only ones on Kauai with Sea Shore Paspalum turf on them. Kiahuna opened for play in 1984, and was Poipu Beach’s first resort golf course.
Since then it has undergone a change in ownership and a major refurbishment. The result is one of the best public access golf courses. Layout includes ancient remnants of an authentic Hawaiian village, a abandoned Portuguese dwelling, and a cave system that's home to the rare and endangered Koloa Blind Wolf Cave Spider.

  Poipu Bay Resort Golf

Course Home to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf from 1994 - 2006. Poipu Bay Golf Course played host to the annual PGA Grand Slam of Golf, one of the most prestigious competitions in the golf world. The PGA Grand Slam of Golf is a 36-hole stroke-play event conducted over two days, with the four players vying for a purse of well over a million dollars.

Over the years, the most prominent names in golf have graced the greens at Poipu Bay during this event, including such golfing greats as: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen, Justin Leonard, Davis Love III, David Duval, Tom Lehman, Paul Azinger, Jose Maria Olazabal, Ernie Els, Mark O’Meara and Greg Norman.
  Kukuiolono Golf Club

The Kukuiolono Golf Course & Park in Kalaheo is one of Kauai's best-kept secrets.
Originally built as the personal golf course of sugar magnate Walter D. McBryde, and later donated by the family, Kukuiolono is now a delightful 9-hole public course. The course is in Kukuiolono Park,..In fact, you'll see McBryde's grave on the course, along with some other oddities like wild chickens,
ancient Hawaiian rock structures, and Japanese gardens.
There are plenty of trees to keep you on your game. When you
get to the second tee box, check out the coconut tree dotted with
yellow, pink, orange, and white golf balls that have been driven into
the bark.
  Wailua Golf Course

Wailua Golf Course was first built as a 9-hole golf course in the 1930’s. 
The second 9 holes was added in 1961.  Course designer is Toyo Shirai.

  Princeville Golf Club-Prince Course

The acclaimed 18-Hole Prince Golf Course has been ranked by Golf Digest as ‘Hawaii’s #1 Golf Course’ and is the only Golf Course in the State of Hawaii to be recognized on Golf Digest’s 2005-2006 List of America’s “Top 100 Greatest Courses.” This Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed devil of a course sits on 390 acres molded to create ocean views from every hole.
Some holes have a waterfall backdrop to the greens, others shoot into the hillside, and the famous par-4,
  Kauai Golf Course

12th has a long tee shot off a cliff to a narrow, jungle-lined fairway 100 feet below.This is the most challenging course on Kauai; accuracy is key here. Most of the time, if you miss the fairway, your ball's in the drink

  Princeville Golf Club- Makai Course

The Princeville Resort's 27-hole Makai Golf Course doesn't get the ink of its more famous brother, the Prince Course. In fact,For the resort golfer looking for those Hawaii coastline money shots, the Makai has more oceanfront holes running along the North Shore
