World Botanical Garden

The world Botanical Garden and Umauma Falls is situated on 300 acres of former sugar cane field. Located 16 mile north of Hilo, Hawaii. The spectacular triple-tier Umauma Falls is located on the northern border of the Garden and an access road was developed to the falls shortly after the Garden was opened to the public on July 4th, 1995. Currently about 3000 species of plant are in the Garden collection.
